On 9 December 2016, the Hong Kong Green Awards 2016 Presentation Ceremony was held in The Mira Hong Kong. China Resources Cement Holdings Limited was honored with the highest level award – Platinum Award under the Environmental, Health and Safety Award (Large Corporate) category, and Guangxi China Resources Hongshuihe Cement Co., Ltd. received the Silver Award under the Green Management Award – Service Provider (Large Corporate) category. These awards recognized the Company's efforts in environmental, safety and health management.
The Hong Kong Green Awards were first launched by the Green Council of Hong Kong in 2010, with the objective of recognizing companies that have achieved outstanding performance in areas of green purchasing, green management and green governance. This is the Group's fourth consecutive year of participation in the Hong Kong Green Awards. In 2013, China Resources Cement (Fengkai) Limited received the Silver Award under the Green Management Award – Service Provider (Corporation) category. In 2014, China Resources Cement (Nanning) Limited received the Environmental, Health and Safety Award (Corporate) - Silver Award. In 2015, China Resources Cement (Tianyang) Limited received the Environmental, Health and Safety Award (Large Corporate) - Gold Award.
